  I personally think that the biggest strength of U6 is not is portability nor convenience, but its sound quality. Being a lower-end product, people usually don't expect much from the sound quality or will half-heartedly listen to the sound with the conclusion that it's not good already fixed in their minds. However, the SoundAlive and audio upscaling function of U6 do not fall short even when compared to high-end products such as 'Zune'. In particular, the audio upscaling function restores the MP3 files of small size to CD quality. Set SoundAlive to b.bass mode and you can enjoy the magnificence of rock music. You can enjoy your music to the fullest even with the basic sound effect, but I like to set my own EQ value. Everyone has different tastes, so I can't say my EQ value is the best choice, but I'll share it just in case. If you want stronger beat, set the EQ to '-2/+4/+7/+10/+2/+5/+5'. If you feel like soft mode, I recommend '+1/+2/0/-1/+2/+3/+5'.

  U6 incorporates the strengths of previous products. First, the 'tactile quad-direction key' which was favorably received in U5, is applied. U3 and U4 had touch button, but those with thick fingers or those working out complained about the difficulty to manipulate. With the touch button, U4 had a much fancier design, but the weak touch recognition was a key cause of complaint. U5 incorporated these weakness and changed to 'tactile quad-direction key' button, which continued into U6.
  Second, the USB has changed from a lid type to sliding type. U5 was a lid-type where you open and close the USB port connection. This ensured rigidity, but the risk of losing the lid was an issue. That is why U6 has sliding type like U4. And U6 is much more stable than U4. Unstable connection of U4 when connected to the PC is completely resolved in U6 that it connects firmly with the PC.
