This charming serenade is set to the words from Act five, scene one of Shakespeare's The Merchant Of Venice. It may be sung with four soloists - SATB with Chorus, or all the solo parts may be sung in chorus.

Composed for the Reykjavik Cathedral Choir's Solo Dei Gloria festival in 2004, Advent Antiphous is an exquisite concert setting of the Great O Antiphons. Traditionally chanted or sung between 17th and 23rd December, the Antiphons comprise seven brief prayers which proceed in sequence, charting events from before Creation through to the birth of Christ.For SATB double choir a capella.

Belshazzar's Feast by William Walton is a powerful and imposing member of the choral canon. Punctuated by Walton's characteristic pauses and silences, the piece is tense and dramatic, with hauntingly lyrical Baritone solos. The biblical tale has been adapted as a libretto for this quasi-oratorio by Osbert Sitwell.
